(January 26, 2009 - Rockville Centre, NY) Mercy Medical Center is pleased to offer the community the Empire Safety Council's Defensive Driving Course.

The course will be held on Saturday, March 6th from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Mercy League Lounge located across from the entrance to the hospital's Emergency Department.

Upon completion of this course, participants are eligible for 10% off their motor vehicle insurance for three years and/or a reduction of points from their driver's license.

The fee for the course is $40.00 per person and advance registration is required.
