Mercy Medical Center Seeks Surgical Liaison Volunteers |

(October 22, 2010 - Rockville Centre, NY) Mercy Medical Center is seeking participants for an exciting new Surgical Liaison Volunteer Program. The unique effort is aimed at improving the experience of surgical patients, and their families and friends, through enhanced communication. Surgical Liaison Volunteers will be relaying non-clinical information about the status of patients from the nursing staff to families and friends, and escorting surgical patient visitors.
